A1. A collectible doll is a doll suitable or desirable for collecting. Collectible dolls are normally numbered because a limited quantity is produced, hand painted instead of machine painted and valued higher. A collectible doll is a doll you will love to care for and display. - Top
A2. Treat them gently, as you would a real baby. You can brush the hair with a baby brush. Wipe baby's vinyl head, arms, hands, legs, and feet with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water—do not scrub. Do not get the cloth body wet. Avoid strong sunlight and extreme heat. NEVER put your baby near any type of ink, printed materials including non-colorfast materials, markers, or make-up because these substances are impossible to remove. Clothing may be hand-washed in a mild detergent and hung to dry. If needed, iron with a very cool iron to prevent damage to the fabrics.- Top
A3. As these are precious works of art, porcelain dolls are best kept in places that are cool (less than 25°C/70°F), dry as possible, away from direct sunlight, and preferably in a dust-free cabinet, to keep them looking their best. Dolls that will not be displayed should be wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and packed away in a box. - Top
A4. A collectible play doll is a doll which is a higher quality doll than the typical vinyl play doll that can be purchased from Toys 'R Us and other toy stores. Collectible play dolls are meant for play but they also have aspects and characteristics of a collectible doll. - Top
A5. A doll is one of the most open-ended toys available. A doll is a symbolic object which provides an emotional outlet for a child and encourages children to express their feelings, develop their imaginations, experiment with different roles, care for others and create fond memories. Because a quality children's play doll has some of the same "life-like" characteristics of a collectible doll, your children will embrace and love their dolls and perhaps will pass it on to their children one day. - Top
A6. Most dolls that require a doll stand are sold with one. We sell dolls that we call standers and sitters. Dolls that stand can usually stand on their one - most toddler dolls are standers. Dolls that are sitters are weighted and bottom heavy. These dolls are meant to sit. - Top
A7. Additional doll clothes are available on this website under accessories and clothing.- Top
